Theme: “How would you improve the lives of Mauritians?”
Team Name : “Ze Rebels”
The hackathon was held at MCB St-Jean Building, starting on Friday 4th May 2018 at 5 p.m. until Saturday 5th May 2018 at 5 p.m. (mouse down).
Our idea was to develop a mobile app to achieve the following:
- to allow SMEs to keep track of all transactions of type receivables/payables
- to generate quotes, invoices and receipts
- to accept payments using QR codes (customers will pay by JuicebyMCB)
- to allow SMEs to view all their transactions in one dashboard
- to allow the mobile app to connect to a single database of products and customers
The prototype was developed using Bubble.is and Dropsource.
The apk file was installed in one of my team member’s mobile where test was done thoroughly.
Unfortunately we were not among the best 3 !
BUT, what’s most important is to participate and the challenge to implement something in 24 hours !
Next hackathon, it will be even more competitive.
