Manchester United v/s Arsenal – The first BIG clash in this season

Sir Alex Ferguson has claimed that Manchester United can’t afford to drop more points against Arsenal on Saturday afternoon….

A rivalry will take place today, difficult to predict a score, it can be a draw or any team can win..

Arsenal visit Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Saturday for a fixture which is likely to revive memories of some of the English game’s most bitter battles.

The rivalry between the two clubs has been less fierce in recent years as Arsenal faded from the picture.

Sir Alex Ferguson will be one of those men mentioned trying to stop Wenger from completing his wish of winning the Premier League but United’s season has not got off to the most comprehensive of starts ahead of Arsenal’s visit.

Arsenal came through their Champions League qualifier with Celtic unscathed earlier this week but have a doubt over captain Cesc Fabregas, who has a hamstring injury, while United will again be without central defender Rio Ferdinand.

Sir Alex Ferguson will demand that his players earn a better record against fellow members of the top flight’s top four this term, starting with Arsenal on Saturday.

The Reds lost twice to Liverpool, drew and lost with Arsenal, and beat and drew with Chelsea en route to Barclays Premier League success in 2008/09. With that in mind, Sir Alex is placing even greater emphasis on victory over Arsenal today.

My predicted score: Manchester United 2 – 0 Arsenal

Actual Score Manchester United 2-1 Arsenal
