NDE and what happens after death??

Near death experience is something many people have experienced.

A near-death experience (NDE), refers to a broad range of personal experiences associated with impending death, encompassing multiple possible sensations including detachment from the body; feelings of levitation; extreme fear; total serenity, security, or warmth; the experience of absolute dissolution; and the presence of a light, which some people interpret as a deity.

Such cases are usually reported after an individual has been pronounced clinically dead, or otherwise very close to death, hence the entitlement near-death experience. Many NDE reports, however, originate from events that are not life threatening. With recent developments in cardiac resuscitation techniques, the number of NDEs reported has increased. Most of the scientific community regards such experiences as hallucinatory, while paranormal specialists and some mainstream scientists claim them to be evidence of an afterlife.

Fascinating topic. I tend to think that NDE’s are glimpses into something else, largely because some people who have them report witnessing events they shouldn’t have been able to see e.g. in one case, a woman who flatlined “saw”her ex partner in the hospital lobby – the partner being the father of her child – even though she hadn’t been in contact with him for seven years. Later, she found out that her ex partner had been waiting in the lobby.

Thanks for posting on this subject.

This is an interesting topic. I was and still a fan of those topic… i had compiled a lot of info about many cases when I was in HSC…got to look for them.

Infact many associate near death to its mysterious aspect but there is a possible scientific explanation for it too recently.

Many scientists says that those near death effects are caused by the dying brain…which release certain chemicals that causes such effects.

Normally u can try to get a NDE yourself (Dont do it lol..just an example).. by making someone suffocate you…

Inmy opinion… (not scientifically confirmed lol).. I think after a person is said to be clinically dead..he is not really dead!

Dead mean the brain is complety inactive…but when a person dies…his brain is still active for some time… I mean the brain is dying..stoping all functions one by one… While one action is stopped..there are reactions that are occuring..which tries to make the person alive again… “We at times call this Dimoune la p risser” .

Now this is actually where NDE start…and even after the person appear dead..and still.. he is not really completly dead.

Thats why I always believe one day we will have a way to reanimate a clinically dead person in a given time limit.

If you examine the different cases of NDE, you will see that each one NDE is based on what the person believed when he was alive. If he was a christian he can see Jesus!

A hindu can see a lamp! I dont really believe that NDE is anythign connected to God. I think its reactions occuring in the dying brain cells that generate those visions.

Its a very interesting topic worth studying… Good article you brought this here.
